How we work
We understand that therapy may be completely new to you and get how daunting it can be. Think of therapy as an ongoing safe space for you and not only as crisis intervention. We like to draw a parallel between being in therapy & going to the gym. We go to the gym regularly to become and continue to remain fit. Also, changes at the gym are slow but definite. Therapy is like a gym, for the mind. – Showing up for it may be hard but is worth it. Congratulations on taking your first step.
In each session, we set mutually aligned goals and see how we can work towards them. Before closing every session, we will align on a few activities/ action points that you can act upon in the week to get better. The action plan is intended to empower you with self-help tools such that you come to a point of not needing therapy at all.
